A Night of Prayer, Life, and Community
In honor of the Month of the Rosary, Vanessa Gallegos of Delray Beach joined fellow parishioners, families, and students in celebrating a moving night of prayer and reflection. The event, presided over by Bishop Gerald M. Barbarito, took place at Emmanuel Catholic Church in Delray Beach, where hearts united in devotion to Our Lady of the Holy Rosary.
Steps for Life Mass and Rosary Walk
The annual Steps for Life Mass and Rosary Walk, hosted by Catholic Charities Palm Beach in support of Birthline/Lifeline Pregnancy Care Centers, brought together the local Catholic community in a powerful witness of faith. Students from St. Vincent Ferrer Catholic School led the Rosary with grace and sincerity, filling the evening air with prayerful reverence.
As the faithful prayed, the mysteries of the Rosary came alive — reminding us of Mary’s deep trust in God and her constant intercession for all of us. “The Rosary is a lifeline,” shared Vanessa Gallegos of Delray Beach, “a prayer that draws us closer to Jesus through His Mother, and strengthens our hearts to defend the sacredness of every life.” 🙏
Faith in Action: Serving Women and Families
Attendees also had the special opportunity to tour the Ultrasound Pregnancy Testing Van, a mobile outreach that provides life-affirming care to women in need. This ministry is a tangible expression of mercy — offering compassion, support, and hope to mothers and their babies.
Katherine Bowers, Birthline/Lifeline’s program director, spoke at the close of the liturgy, expressing gratitude for the community’s continued support and prayers. “Each act of love and service makes a difference,” she reminded us — a sentiment echoed throughout the evening’s celebration.
Living the Message of Our Lady of the Rosary
The event was more than a gathering; it was a reflection of what Our Lady of the Holy Rosary calls us to live daily — prayer, faith, and the courage to stand for life.
